Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, unsafe, or does not meet consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Treat Safety
At For Your Paws Only, we carefully select and prepare all of our natural treats using quality ingredients. While our treats are enjoyed safely by thousands of pets, no chew or treat can ever be considered completely risk-free.
As with any food or chew, dogs should always be supervised while eating, and owners should choose treats that are appropriate for their pet's size, age, chewing style and individual health requirements.
Natural Bones
Many of our bone products are naturally dehydrated rather than cooked.
Unlike cooked bones, dehydrated bones have not been subjected to high cooking temperatures that can make bones brittle. However, as with any natural bone, there remains a small risk of choking, digestive upset or injury if a treat is swallowed in large pieces or is not suitable for your dog's chewing style.
Always select an appropriately sized treat and supervise your dog while chewing.
Hard Chews
Some natural treats are firm and designed to provide longer-lasting chewing enjoyment and support dental health.
Dogs with damaged teeth, dental disease, fractures or other oral health concerns may not be suitable candidates for harder chews. If you are unsure, we recommend consulting your veterinarian before offering these products.
Digestive Sensitivities
Every dog is unique.
Some dogs may take longer to digest certain proteins or natural chews, while others may have sensitivities to particular ingredients or richer proteins.
When introducing any new treat:
- Offer a small portion initially.
- Monitor your dog's response.
- Gradually increase the amount if well tolerated.
- Always provide access to fresh drinking water.
Feeding smaller portions is often the best way to minimise digestive upset, particularly when introducing new proteins.

Supervision
We recommend that:
- Dogs are always supervised while enjoying treats or bones.
- Fresh drinking water is available at all times.
- Any remaining pieces that become small enough to present a choking risk are removed.
- Treats are fed as part of a balanced diet and are not intended to replace complete meals.
