Barry – Head Taste Tester, Chief Food Critic and the Inspiration Behind 'For Your Paws Only'

Barry is a 15-year-old Beagle who came into our lives through a twist of fate when he was just seven months old.

His first few months weren't easy, but from the moment we met him, we knew he belonged with us. How could we not bring him home?

Like most Beagles, Barry's nose is always hard at work and his love of food is legendary. Over the years, he has become much more than a beloved family member — he became the inspiration behind For Your Paws Only.

When we started creating natural, fresh pet food, there was only one obvious choice for the role of Head Taste Tester.

Barry's Responsibilities

• Have a nose for quality
• Approve only natural ingredients
• Enforce a strict NO NASTIES policy
• Assess taste and texture standards
• Ensure every recipe is worthy of four-legged friends
• Advocate for healthy, balanced nutrition
• Represent the likes and dislikes of pets everywhere

Barry takes his role very seriously. Every recipe must pass the Barry Test before it earns a place at For Your Paws Only.
