Academy Dogs help our students develop real grooming skills while receiving gentle, carefully supervised care.

Every appointment takes place in our working salon under the direct supervision of a fully trained groomer. We maintain a maximum ratio of two students to one groomer and always use a force-free approach.

Academy Dogs also receive a discounted grooming fee as a thank you for supporting the next generation of professional groomers.

Is My Dog Suitable?

Suitable Academy Dogs are generally small to medium-sized, calm, friendly and comfortable with grooming and handling.

Dogs with extreme anxiety, serious behavioural concerns or significant difficulty being handled may not be suitable for student training.

Every dog is assessed before an Academy appointment is confirmed.
